About the project
This late 1990s kitchen lacked adequate countertop and storage space and the cabinets looked dated. The peninsula design was changed to an island design and we expanded the kitchen to allow for built-in ovens and a drawer microwave. The soffit over the old pantry was raised and new built-in cabinets were installed. New custom-made cabinets by Karman featuring their raised panel Redington door in solid wood maple with an antiqued glaze creates a warm and classic feel in the kitchen. Furniture-detailed crown and base molding add a nice finished detail to the space. Quartz countertops and elegant tileĀ backsplash enhance this sophisticated kitchen, while stunning gold-toned pendants add drama to the island. We enhanced the storage conveniences to the kitchen by including utensil pullouts, pantry pullouts, and tray pullouts.
