About the project
This is not your average refaced kitchen. By paying attention to details that make the cabinets look new, it’s hard to believe the kitchen wasn’t completely remodeled. Some of the enhancements include replacing the desk area cabinets with dry bar cabinets and adding to the island with a bookcase end cap. Furniture base molding and stacked crown further augment the updated cabinets. For refacing the cabinets we used Showplace cabinetry in the Galena door style with cherry russet stained wood on the base cabinets and painted white maple wall cabinets. Installing new roll-out trays to the pantry and some base cabinets improved storage and convenience. A stunning Macaubus quartzite natural stone countertop was selected for the island countertop, and Cambria White Cliff quartz was selected for the perimeter. Utilizing a white subway tile backsplash completes the clean classic look.
