About the project
The existing kitchen was too small and made the owners feel closed off and separated from their living room. Our goal was to enlarge the kitchen and create a more open-concept feel so they could converse with guests when entertaining as well as enjoy the beautiful views available to them in the adjacent room. By removing the soffits and opening up the wall dividing the kitchen to the living room, we increased the space and improved their flow. New appliances and convenience items such as the roll-out trays, mixer lift and pull-out canisters make the kitchen easier to use and maximizes efficiency. New tile floors complement the rustic cherry cabinets and natural stone countertops add a richness to the kitchen, especially with the waterfall detail at the island. Undercabinet LED lights and LED can lights make this chef’s kitchen easy to work in!
